Our Story
Founded in 2011 by Dave and Alec, who have deep roots in the natural gas machining industry, Kernow Machining was built on a foundation of skill, integrity, and a passion for precision. The name “Kernow” comes from the Celtic word for the county of Cornwall, England, where both founders grew up. Their heritage is reflected in the company emblem, which blends the St. Piran’s flag with the Canadian flag, symbolizing the union of tradition and innovation.
With over 100 years of combined experience in on-site machining, Dave and Alec transformed Kernow Machining into a trusted name in engine block restoration. Their vision and expertise have positioned the company as a go-to provider for high-performance machining services across Western Canada.
